प्रोग्राम्स तथा निर्देशों का ऐसा समूह जिसका प्रयोग सिस्टम को ऑपरेट करने के लिए किया जाता है सॉफ्टवेयर कहलाता है |

SOFTWARE: Software logical होता है | यह अपने आप में ऐसी entity होती है जो महसूस की जाती है | (A group of programs/instructions is known called software.)
सॉफ्टवेयर : यह एक प्रोग्राम है, जो कम्प्यूटर को कार्य करने के लिए क्रमानुसार निर्देश देता रहता है |

हार्डवेयर: सूचना तैयार करने के लिए आकड़ों को प्रोसेस करने वाले अंग हार्डवेयर कहलाते है |

प्रोग्राम: प्रोग्राम्स शिक्षा के समूह हैं जो कुछ विशिष्ट कार्य करने के लिए कंप्यूटर को निर्देश देते हैं।

कम्प्यूटर हार्डवेयर डिवाइस से बना होता है | इन यंत्रो को चलाने के लिए सॉफ्टवेयर की आवशयकता होती है | हार्डवेयर और सॉफ्टवेयर दोनों एक दूसरे के पूरक होते हैं क्योकि हार्डवेयर के बिना सॉफ्टवेयर को काम में नहीं लिया जा सकता - अतः कम्प्यूटर पर कार्य करने के लिए हार्डवेयर तथा सॉफ्टवेयर दोनों का ही तालमेल जरुरी है |

Which allows input or output devices to establish communication relationships with the rest of the computer.)
लैंग्वेज ट्रांसलेटर : प्रोग्राम्स द्वारा लिखे गए प्रोग्रामिंग निर्देशों को उस लैंग्वेज में बदलते है जिसे कम्प्यूटर समझता है तथा प्रोसेस करता है |
(Language Translator: Convert programming instructions written by programs into the language that the computer understands and processes.)
